Which "Harry Potter" Film Is The Best

Two weeks ago was #FUNDAY on ABC Family, which if you haven’t heard will soon be called Freeform, but I’ll get back to that later. I’m pretty sure Harry Potter Weekend on ABC Family has had a million names. But every time it’s on, I make sure to tune in… I’m pretty sure I have seen some of the films at least 100 times because of ABC Family. I mean now that they air all 9 of them, half the films air three times in a weekend… and I sometimes watch them three times in a weekend. This is that moment I wish you could at the monkey emoji onto wordpress haha. Any who, because it was recently #HarryPotterForever and I spent a weekend rewatching all the films, I decided to consider all of them and the order in which I adore them. I mean, can you really rate these films? Because let’s be real, they’re all amazing! However I have attempted to do my best starting with my favorite!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

I feel like rating these is such a controversial thing. However the reason why I love this film the most is because it belongs on its own. It feels so different from the other films. And TBH I just really wish I had that time turner!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

This scene is the reason why this is my second favourite film. The ‘pinchers’ motion is used all the time with my family. If someone gets upset or is angry or simply irritated – you just throw out some pinchers and you’ll automatically get my family laughing. I love Harry Potter for bringing my family together!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

Some of you might scoff at the reason I love this film… And there are many reasons, but one is because of Robert Pattinson. This is a safe space right? Will if you weren’t aware, my blog is a safe space 😉 And the first time I saw this film I absolutely adored him as Cedric and yes, that was prior to the Twilight phenomenon! I actually loved this film so much that I read the book afterwards… I know what sort of fan am I not to have read the books before seeing the films. But in my eyes, I like to read books afterwards because to me it feels like deleted scenes that way. Like the book has all the extra stuff, instead of being disappointed with a film, I am able to enjoy it and then enjoy the book even more!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2

I left this film higher on the list because of Snape. This film receives special accolades because of Snape. I cry every time I watch Snape’s memories. JK Rowling proved her magic by turning Snape into one of the most beloved characters of the series!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

The film where we met Umbridge. Honestly, her character just drives me insane! Like the mere thought of her pisses me off. She looks so sweet and evil all at the same time. I feel bad for Imelda Staunton for playing such a hated character, because she has a show on Broadway called Gypsy and it’s amazing, wonderful and lovely! However every time I see advertisements for it in London all I think is ‘UMBRIDGE’ *with anger haha #SORRY

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1

Making this list was harder than I expected. But this film was one of the most unique. It feels different and explores so many areas of the Harry Potter world. It also encompasses 500 pages of the last book, while the final film only covers about 200. I adore this film. It has so many magical moments, but their moments. I sometimes forget what happens in it because they are so different, but nonetheless I still love it!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone

Can the first film really be on a list? It’s the first film! The one that introduced us to this world! It lead us to 10 years of magic! To love and passion! This was the beginning of my British obsession! Think about it… If you were a child when you first started watching Harry Potter, you probably knew nothing about the UK besides Harry Potter. They had interesting accents and you most likely thought they lived in the past on the other side of the pond if you are from the US because that’s how wizards live. Harry potter can’t be rated… but if it had to be… I guess this would go here…

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

These last films are difficult.. They are the younger years and well, I’ve gotten older… So I think I just relate to the older time periods now… Which is why these ones have fallen to the bottom of my list. But without a doubt Dobby is one of the best things about the Harry Potter series! #RIPDobby! And I just don’t like SNAKES!

What’s your favorite HP film?
